I live right next to the Azabu-Jyuban district of Minato, Tokyo. Its a pretty rich area, Gackt lives here, so their Matsuri last weekend was a pretty big deal. A quarter of a million people showed up, and the Blue Man Group performed.

There was supposed to be a Typhoon hitting the other day, but it went around Tokyo. I live about a 20 minute walk from the water so I went down to see what the water looked like. It was surprisingly calm.

This crossing is just outside Shinagawa station, which is my closest JR train station. I have to cross over this to get to the market street where they have fresh produce and fish lined up in little stores that might as well be old fashioned market stalls. Photo with Canon S90
