Kathy Chee of JrockOnline.com has raised an interesting question over on her blog. Are the press photos from X Japan’s recent Hollywood filming doctored, and are the crowd numbers they released false? She has some evidence to back it up, so check it out and decide for yourself.

Doesn’t look like there will be any last minute cancellations of X Japan’s promotional video shoot, scheduled for tomorrow night. Pictures show that an elaborate set is already under construction right near the Hollywood Hard Rock Cafe. For more photos, follow the link.

A website has popped up advertising that X Japan will be filming four music videos on January 9th 2010. The website says for fans to dress up and “bring signs”. It also asks fans to sign up for more information. So its not exactly clear yet if the filming is open to the public, or [...]

I suspected that we would hear from X Japan very soon after their self imposed “Nothing else in 2009″ announcement expired, and indeed we will. A posting on Navigate Hollywood has announced that X Japan is shutting down a portion of Hollywood Boulevard from 10pm on January 9th until 7am the next day.
