15,000Y for two DVDs? I don’t think so MUCC.
Dec 15th, 2008 by Lee Shichi M.
MUCC is releasing “Live Chronicle 2″ the day before Christmas. It’s two DVDs of interesting material including the Taste of Chaos tour, some guitar picks and an an autograph thrown in. But, autographs are kinda pointless if you didn’t get them yourself. Autographs are usually memories of meeting someone, so what’s this going to be? A memory of buying the DVD? What if I don’t want an autograph and guitar picks? What if I just want the DVDs?
Another thing I’d like to mention is that releasing something as a collectors item is stupid. Real collectors items are accidents, or due to the result of time creating scarcity. Like a 100 year old baseball card, or a band’s first single that didn’t sell many copies. Not because someone purposefully made fewer copies then there was a demand for and slapped a sticker on it that says “Limited Edition” or “Collectors Editions”. It’s really a lame marketing ploy.
To go back to my original point:
I’m not paying 15,000 Yen for 2 DVDs. No way in hell, sorry.
