Versailles releases preview of “Jubilee”, their 3rd album to be called “Debut”
Dec 9th, 2009 by Lee Shichi M.
Versailles has released short previews of all of the songs on their upcoming album “Jubilee” which is due for release on January 20th. The website brands this as their “Debut Album”. Which would make this their third debut album. If you don’t want to count the first one, then its still the second. The voice over says it is their world debut…but its not that either. “Noble” was on iTunes international and had limited physical release in the states and Europe. It is their major label debut, but they aren’t calling it that. Odd, just saying.

I just assumed they meant their “debut” as major label artists. …but I agree, the way it’s worded is odd.

Yeah that would make sense, but it just says “Debut” and the voice over says “World Debut” and I fail to see how its a world debut when they’ve already toured abroad and released material abroad.

Strange. I heard of this the other day and haven’t been able to wrap my mind around it either, other than they are debuting a new chapter in their career as a quartet. It doesn’t seem they are “debuting” a new sound or image, nor are they really debuting to the world, so I guess all we can do is guess.
