Crash Mansion is one of the better venues that the American Jrock bands have played in together. Its a state of the art place with all sorts of lighting, great sound, an awesome bar, and even their own radio booth. There was even somehow free beer even though it was an 18+ event.

Hear Japan has long stuck to its “Japanese bands only” guns, there are plenty of Japanese musicians outside of Japan but the site has always promoted and sold music strictly from the islands of Japan. Its just been announced that Yoshiki and Sugizo will appear and briefly perform on July 31st at Baltimore’s Otakon. I was once told by someone close to X Japan that X Japan appearing at Otakon would never happen. Times change.
I’d imagine it will be a piano and violin duet.

This guy needs to get to Tokyo.

This guy says he wants to quit his day job and sing for a living. He’s got a great voice and seems to love over the top costuming, he’d be interesting in a Malice Mizer-esque band.
