No offense, but I have a feeling that someone who fears a constant change of Thai presidents should not be taken seriously.

On that note, sawatdee pee mai everyone.

hidella, you're wrong. Even if airport riots have gone now and there's a new president everything could happen. Just imagine that the idea of the show goes on, they sold out and one week before the concert the new president does something bad and people start riots again at the airport, then X couldn't arrive to Thailand, there won't be any show and fans would have 100 USD less.

Also, I don't see any recession in X Japan plans when after the Thai postponement they have announced three more dates in less than 24 hours :P

Lee Miller,
Thank you for your concern on Thai political issues. The article basically says what I have already mentioned and it mentions nothing more than a small fraction of protesters that are supporting the former government. Long story short, it is not to be alarmed because anti-government protesters are in every country. But to get back to my point, in a Buddhist country like Thailand, Japanese rock stars will not be taken as hostile for sure. From my past experience living in Thailand, I can say that there is absolutely no threat to a band that wants to do a live concert there.
On the other hand, I had simply pointed out a more obvious reason of why concerts are being canceled around the world. I think the economic recess does play a part. If you think otherwise, please give me valuable reasons, I do want to hear opinions and I am not trying to initiate any sort of argument.

Lee Miller:
No, unfortunately I don't think it's a good enough reason because the fact that the airport was closed was to protest against the former prime minister, and now that there is a new elected president, there aren't going to be troubles like before. The only reason people protested during that time was because the former president won the election in fraud. If you have read articles carefully you will know that there is no reason to be alarmed and to call it a time of emergency in Thailand.
On another note, it's been very unlucky for Thai fans. Similar thing happened 10 years back, X booked a concert but never came due to the disband. Despite that, Thai fans are still strong and loyal.

Hidella:
You don't think the fact that the airport has been shut down by protesters and the country being on the brink of bloodshed are good reasons to not go to Thailand?

oh no, please don't blame it on the Thai political issues. The media is trying to expand it and make it look worse than it really is. In my opinon X Japan marketing planners are trying to postpone this world debut because of the economic recess. That should also explain what happened in Paris. It's not the best time for them. It's a shame, though because I still see them as a legend and I am sure lots of people around the wolrd can't wait to see them.

BTW i love the new graphics ;)
